I have known Ellen for a very long time and when the time came for me and my wife to sell our home in Plano and move back to Connecticut, we choose Ellen to be our realtor, and it turned out to be one of the best decision we made during this time. As we were preparing (decluttering) our home to list it, we were away visiting family when I received a call from Ellen informing me that there was a cold freeze in Texas and one of the pipes in the wall between my dining room and garage had burst, and many personal items in my dining room and garage were damaged by the water. A few minutes after my initial shock and panic, she told me not to change my travel plans as she will find someone to assess the damage, begin the clean-up and required repairs. My wife and I returned home a few days later, and to our surprise, Ellen did more than she had promised, and much, much more than we could have imagined. I have moved eight times and worked with many good realtors / agents, but I must say I do not believe any of those realtors would have done the things Ellen did for us during this time. Also, I must mentioned that repairs were completed within a few days and our home was listed a few days later that planned.
